Peter Sammons
Leadership Development, Team development, organisational alignment and Group/process Facilitation
Over the last 20 years Peter has accumulated a wealth of experience working with leadership teams to develop effective behaviours and align themselves and their team culture to the organisation's direction and goals. He especially enjoys targeted leadership and team development; building partnerships across organisations; supporting business plan and project implementation; and assisting with the building of cultural shifts to support organisational change. He frequently works with Senior Managers and leaders at all levels inside organisations to improve their alignment to organisational objectives, especially during times of major change.
He has worked both in N.Z. and internationally on leadership development projects, and supporting major change initiatives at all levels.
Peter's strength is his exposure to a wide variety of sectors with varied challenges and perceived barriers to success. Typical situations: new Senior Teams, teams in trouble, teams grappling with major change, teams who need their strategy translated into a framework for success, helping build alignment across all leadership tiers.
People say they feel affirmed and validated by Peter's style, as he works to create an environment that supports the free expression of their perspectives and points of view. This enables people to discover their own answers and gain insights into more effective ways of working and behaving. As a result, they are much more likely to take ownership of the solutions.
Feedback from participants Peter has worked with shows that people feel challenged and motivated to improve. They enjoy surfacing ways to work more effectively, and the changes they need to make to be successful.
